Liquid-ring pumps for the dairy industry are used where the product contains large
quantities of air or gas and other situations where centrifugal pumps cannot be used. The clearance between the impeller and casing is small, so this type of pump is not suitable for handling abrasive products.

A common application for this product is as a CIP return pump for cleaning solution,
as CIP solutions normally contain large amounts of air. This liquid-ring pump is made of stainless steel.
